01.05.20 Maths Day 26 - Multiplication Hazard Checking

PARENTS: In class we often ask the children to become 'Hazard Checkers'. The children will have to spot and explain mistakes that they can see in work that has already been completed.

We have found that giving the children the chance to explain the mistakes that someone else has made, gives them a chance to explain their own understanding. It also stops them from making the same mistakes!

Watch the video to see a guide to being a good Hazard Checker in this lesson.

TASK: Can you spot and explain the mistakes in the work below?

Challenge: Can you create similar questions so someone else has to spot the hazards?
