Day 3: To use powerful verbs to describe
Yesterday, you created expanded noun phrases using interesting adjectives. Today, you are going to focus on verbs to describe what the objects in the picture are doing. If you're up for the challenge you may also include adverbs and maybe some similes!
Below, there are 4 different sentence levels.

Sentence Level 1: Noun and adjectives
E.g. The clouds were soft and fluffy.
Sentence Level 2: Noun, adjectives and verb
E.g. The huge house flew past the soft, fluffy clouds.
Sentence Level 3: Noun, adjectives, verb and adverb
E.g. Slowly, the huge house flew past the soft, fluffy clouds.
Sentence Level 4: Noun, adjectives, verb, adverb and simile!
E.g. Slowly, the huge house flew like a kite, past the soft, fluffy clouds.
TASK: Use the expanded noun phrases from yesterday to create some super sentences. You will need to create 5 sentences about the picture. Challenge yourself to write at a high sentence level!
REMEMBER: We will be writing a story on Friday. Stories need to be descriptive so that the reader can picture what is happening. The more interesting adjectives, verbs and adverbs you use, the better your story will be!
