Verb challenge

Have a look at the picture below (you can click on it to make it bigger).

TASK: 

1. Pick out some of the characters and draw them in your book.

2. Write down the verb that they are doing, e.g. dancing, running, drinking.

3. Use a thesaurus or google to up-level your verb!

4. Pick out a different set of characters and repeat.

EXAMPLE:

1. I have picked out these characters.

2. The verb is running.

3. Up-levelled verbs: Dashed, sprinted, darted, cantered, bounded, scampered, scuttled, rushed, spurted, galloped.
